About the opportunity:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\n

The Workers Compensation Specialist reports to the Director of Occupational Health to develop, maintain and manage Vail Health\u2019s Workers Compensation program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
      \n
    1. Performs patient registration and associated tasks which includes Employer and Insurance information.<\/li>\n
    2. Triages, schedules and coordinates workers compensation patient appointments.<\/li>\n
    3. Partners with Employers and Work Comp insurance companies to assist patients with their M164 form and back to work processes.<\/li>\n
    4. Tracks and manages all patient cases throughout the workers compensation process and obtains patient claim and contact information.<\/li>\n
    5. Coordinates all patient referrals and authorizations from insurance.<\/li>\n
    6. Assists overall department with administrative needs such as data entry and report generation.<\/li>\n
    7. Assists with drug screens and alcohol testing.<\/li>\n
    8. Assists with training and orientation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ul>\n
