We\u2019re seeking a <strong>Nocturnist Anesthesiologist<\/strong>\u00a0to join our collaborative team-based model alongside experienced CRNAs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span>This role is a 40 hour week (1.0 FTE) working 7 days on and 7 days off, additional compensation for extra days worked outside of contract. We have a team based model with CRNA&#8217;s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>About the opportunity:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Nocturnist Anesthesiologist at Vail Health provides critical anesthesia care during nighttime hours, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a high-acuity setting. This role is pivotal in maintaining continuous and responsive anesthetic services, contributing to the overall quality of patient care and supporting the hospital\u2019s commitment to excellence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Provide anesthesia care during nighttime hours, ensuring patient safety and comfort in high-acuity settings.<\/li>\n<li>Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and medical procedures, including trauma cases.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure optimal outcomes and manage any complications that arise.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to deliver anesthesia care.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records using the EMR system.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in anesthesia practice.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives as required.<\/li>\n<li>Models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.
