About the opportunity:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Provides comprehensive dermatologic services functioning as an independent healthcare provider.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Prescribes or administers pharmaceuticals, other medications, immunizations, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Provides health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Monitors patients’ conditions and progress, re-evaluating treatments, and explains procedures and test results or prescribed treatments with patients.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. May manage the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and\/or infection control standards.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. As appropriate to the position, participates in specified health promotion, education and\/or prevention programs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

      • Medical doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with 3 to 5 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Federal DEA Certification: Medical Specialty License or Certification, Board Certified or Board eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
